Lars Kai Hansen has a PhD in physics (University of Copenhagen). He is professor at the Technical University of Denmark and head of the Section, Cognitive Systems, DTU Compute. He held an Excellence professorship with Univ. Carlos III Madrid, Spain. Currently, a member of Novo Nordisk Foundation’s committee for Natural Science and Technology and a fellow of the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems ELLIS. He has published more than 300 contributions on machine learning theory and applications in bio-medicine, digital media and AI.
